Donation Types Explained: 

2023 Annual Appeal:  An essential fundraising initiative, the Annual Appeal bridges the financial gap between membership dues and the necessary funding to ensure TNT operates at its full capacity. Held annually from September to December, this campaign plays a vital role in sustaining TNT's activities and programs.

Clergy Discretionary Funds:  Support our TNT clergy by contributing to a discretionary fund, expressing your gratitude for their efforts in creating a welcoming and cherished community. Whether you've experienced a particularly memorable event or simply wish to show your appreciation, your donation to one of the four available funds is a wonderful way to express gratitude.

The funds are utilized by the clergy at their discretion to address various community needs, such as sponsorships, scholarships, and providing meals, among other essential necessities.

Available Discretionary Funds: Rabbi Marc Katz, Cantor Meredith Greenberg, Rabbi Sharon Litwin, Clergy Associate Ronni Pressman

Chesed: Our Chesed Committee works hard to ensure members of our community are comforted at difficult and joyous times, provided rides to events or doctor's appointments, and more. Donations to this fund will help provide resources for these continued services to members. 

General Fund Donation: Not sure where to show your support? A gift to our General Fund helps to fuel our daily operations and all that goes into making TNT your home away from home!

Memorial Plaque: When a loved one passes away, these plaques hang in our Sanctuary and are displayed during a yahrzeit. A plaque is $360. 

Religious School and Shoresh Teacher Appreciation Funds: During Hanukkah and at the End of the School Year, parents collect funds to show appreciation for our wonderful teaching staff! 

Tbilisi, Georgia Peace Project: We've recently partnered with a progressive congregation in Tbilisi, Georgia. TNT supported the first female B'nai Mitzvah in the country last summer and continues to support the thriving of this progressive community in an otherwise inhospitable environment. Yahrzeit Donations: When the Yahrzeit, or anniversary, of a loved one's passing, it is customary to make a donation to the temple community in their honor. Many feel this is a meaningful way to honor the loved one and help ensure the continued vibrancy of the Jewish community in this area.
