Memorial Plaques

In Jewish tradition, it is common to honor the memory of a loved one by placing a memorial plaque on a memorial board. These plaques typically display the name of the deceased, along with their date of passing in both the Gregorian and Hebrew calendars. At Temple Ner Tamid, our sanctuary features permanent memory boards where these plaques are placed. Additionally, on the yahrzeit anniversary, a special yahrzeit plaque is displayed on our yahrzeit board. Whether you are a congregant or not, anyone with a memorial plaque will receive annual yahrzeit notifications by email, and the name of your loved one will be read during the Friday night Erev Shabbat service in the week of their yahrzeit.

Minimum donation per plaque:
Members: $500
Non-Members: $720
