Annual Appeal

Following the horrific and unimaginable events that occurred on October 7th, our synagogue has become a beacon of light in times of darkness for our Jewish community.  In the days and months that followed, Temple Ner Tamid was a source of comfort and strength and its Importance as a vital Jewish institution has never been more apparent. In these difficult times, TNT has felt more like a home than ever before, a place where we can come together as Jews. strengthen our bonds, and support each other.

Sustaining this beacon of light depends on the continued dedication and generosity of our temple members.  As we welcome the Jewish New Year 5785, we invite you to make a gift to our Annual Appeal. With your generosity, TNT can continue to shine brightly and remain a pillar of strength and resilience for our Jewish community.

On behalf of the Executive Board, we wish you a year filled with blessings, happiness, safety and peace.

L’shanah tovah tikateivu v’teichateimu,

Andrew Slutzky
Vice President for Development

Child Care

This year, child care and/or children's programming will be offered during most High Holy Day services. For children ages 1 to 4, babysitting will be offered. For children ages 5 to 7, a High Holy Day activity program has been specially designed. This year, once again, child care will be provided free of charge. However, you must register your child in advance. Children will not be admitted without prior registration.

We regret that we cannot accommodate infants under one year of age or older special needs children. If you wish to provide a full-time shadow for an older special needs child, contact Laurie Schifano, TNT's Director of Operations & Events at lschifano@nertamid.org. Parents of very young children need to provide diapers, wipes, bottles and nut free snacks. If your child is not used to being left with a babysitter, you should expect to stay at least long enough to make the transition.
