Chesed Committee

Chesed translates as loving kindness, and the Chesed Committee’s mission is to provide just that. We offer tangible evidence of Ner Tamid’s strong sense of community, especially during times of need. We deliver meals to congregants who are ill or recovering from illness, platters for families sitting shiva, visits to members who need company, and rides to those who need them. We also celebrate joyous occasions, bringing onesies to families with new babies.
