SUMMER CAMP ACTIVITY CALENDARS

CAMP SUMMER GROUPS 2023

What To Wear And Bring

Packing List is available in PDF here!

Your camper should arrive to camp wearing their swimsuit*, socks and sneakers, and need to have sunscreen applied to all exposed areas prior to camp drop off. Our water play area has no shade and each camper will be at water play for no less than 30 minutes.

In their backpack should be a towel, sunscreen, water shoes, and a plastic or reusable bag for wet clothes, clearly labeled. Each camper should have a separate full change of clothes in their backpack in case of a bathroom accident or other mess.

*Depending on your child's swimsuit preference determines the need for a set of dry clothes to change into. If your camper's swimsuit can be their regular clothes, shorts and a shirt, pack a full set of dry clothes in their backpack everyday. If your camper's swimsuit is a one piece or two piece that can be worn under clothing, those clothes can be used as their dry clothes and you will need to pack dry underwear.

Flip flops are not acceptable as they could be a safety hazard for the water play area, water shoes must have a back strap.  Counselors will reapply sunscreen after water play or as needed for the afternoon. Sunscreen can only be applied if you submit a signed Medication Permission form.

Snack and Lunch

PDF Guide To Snack and Lunch Choices

Each camper must bring a labeled morning snack, a labeled separate lunch, and a labeled reusable water bottle to be refilled throughout the day with filtered water. .

Rest Time

If your camper is staying until 3pm or later, we have rest time built into our schedule. At this time, if your child is no longer napping, campers will be resting their body in a quiet, dark, cool room on their mat or cot. Please send a labeled crib size sheet, a labeled small blanket and/or a lovie for them to use at this time. These items will stay with their rest mat/cot and will be sent home every Friday to be washed and returned for the next week.

Drop-Off, Pick-Up

The doors will open at 8:50 am every morning for drop-off. You or your caregiver will bring your camper to their assigned classroom and drop-off to their counselor. The counselors will help the camper unpack their things and place them in the appropriate places. The doors will close promptly at 9:10 am. If you arrive late, ring the bell and a staff member will come out to bring your camper in to their classroom.

The doors will reopen at 12:55 pm (1:00 pick up) and 2:55 pm (3:00 pick up) for a 10 minute pick-up window. All downstairs campers will be waiting in the lobby and all upstairs campers will be waiting in their classrooms. If someone other than those assigned on the contact sheet arrive, we will call you and ask for ID before dismissing your camper to that person.

Kid's Club

Morah Melissa will be our Kids' Club Coordinator for camp. Kids' Club (KC) runs Monday - Thursday until 5:30 pm and Friday until 4:00 pm.

1. If your child is in diapers, send in an extra pack of diapers and wipes labeled “Kids’ Club”.
