Sisterhood welcomes women of varied backgrounds, interests, and ages to become involved in Temple life through our programs and acts of Tzedakah that enrich our congregation and support our Religious School and youth groups.

Sisterhood provides the following services, contributions, and activities:
  • Judaica shop maintenance and staffing
  • Shabbat onegs
  • Weekly study sessions with the Rabbi
  • Programs on a variety of topics; see the Temple calendar
  • Hanukkah and Passover greetings and gifts to congregants at college
  • Gifts to B’nai Mitzvah students, Confirmation class, and outstanding high school graduate
  • Financial contributions to the Temple, Religious School and Preschool
  • Annual luncheon for Religious School staff
  • Tribute cards to congregants
  • Fundraising for social causes such as the Breast Cancer Walk
  • Donations of goods for women’s shelter

We are affiliated with Women of Reform Judaism and participate in local and regional events.
